This is so good... your art is so pretty and I really connect with the emotions in this. A doll is made for a singular purpose, but maybe we can choose it ourselves...

This was so so fun to read! The designs are so cute and going through talking and helping all the dolls is really fun. I love all their personalities and all the details on the materials and how they all interact with you. The closeness a stuffed doll gives and the frailty of a porcelain doll... the plethora of little details and differences are excellent. fantastic job!!
This was pretty great. It does a fantastic job of highlighting the ways that LLMs can warp people's connection to art as well as the ways in which people can unwittingly sabotage themselves with these LLMs. The happyhomes woman is an especially depressing case. I also really like the timer and the miniscule amounts of time freely given and taken away by the tester. It feels really hopeless whether you do your job perfectly or not. It's horrible to imagine needing to spend more than 190 years as a chatbot just to get your body back. Great job.
This was a very interesting read. I love how your writing style feels with segmented sentences, it really gives you a dissociative feeling when combined with the abstract art. The story being told like it's a recalling of the past just keeps laying the dissociative feeling on. It's really good.
The music feels like an extra cherry on top. And Hanni, the final boss of noisy art, you really did a fantastic job with the presentation. It's so noisy and mushy I wanna take a bite out of it.
I really appreciate Didi’s design, both her sprites and her less than approachable personality. Its so incredible. Even someone who isnt the “doormat” is left to the whims of people with more social power. A real fear that kind of pervades our very existence. If she wasn’t that way I think I wouldn’t have felt as frustrated as I did when all the shit hit the fan. She’s so cute and one of my favorite designs from this entire jam, so I love seeing the little concept art of her here.
F//F’s lack of music really surprised me. I almost wanted to go back and update my game again to remove music from some parts cause I hadn’t really had any experience working on sound design before (let alone anything like a whole ass game) and I was agonizing over it so much that realizing maybe I didn’t need to do that is a little frustrating haha. It’s such an interesting decision and it ended up working really well here. The ambience is just like an almost hidden cherry on top.
Also I love seeing a bit of details on the judging process, and I was definitely worried that my submission wasnt as toxic as I had originally wanted. Just the nature of my first jam I guess. I had such a wonderful time though so thank you for making this jam happen!! Your hard work (as well as the others) has gotten me off my ass and helped me finally just go out and make stuff for once in my life, and I’ll take those feelings and keep running. So thanks for making the dick smasher 5000. I look forward to the next model.
This was so great! The stories are all really compelling, and the smaller art pieces are very cute. What a lovely anthology of love. All the stories reaaally make me want more. There's just enough there that really makes me want to see the relationships in their full scope, or in Mimi's and Adler's case, I really wanted to see where those two would go. Or what the heck those other two were gluing together. Fantastic job, all of you.
Fantastic short story. The awkwardness and mostly one-sidedness of the dialogue is just so good at painting a picture of Liv, or even what the MC thinks of her. Their relationship is just, so twisted. I can't tell if the main character made her that way or if she's just like that. The complexity of their relationship is really well done for such a short story. I needed to reread it just to get down a lot of the details.
What a nice, gripping little game. I really enjoy the dynamic between the two girls, and the differences between the choices and how things don't really go how you want them to. If you choose the correct (horrible) options you can really see the girls' dynamic peeled all the way back, which was really cool.
I love how this is rent free: the game with Avesta. Literally seething at every second of every day. Honestly I thought Kalve would show up at her job, a public restroom, or even in her own house it was getting ridiculous lol. This was funny, a little sad, and a bit sweet. I'd love to see it with the art cause the bats and dolls and stuff seemed pretty cool. I think the beginning is a bit heavy-handed with the beating and stuff but I still think a story like this from a transphobe's perspective is a fun idea to explore.
Such a good read!! This game is so cute, sad, and funny at all the right times. The art seriously was so cute I wanted to die. I love how the 'good vs bad' actions get recontextualized through the disembodied voice. There's truly something enticing about the dolls, and Garbage's wants and needs being something that's ignored, played with, and sometimes accepted was all interesting to watch.
Despite it being unfinished and a bit clunky to read, this was really fun! The moment a certain character gets introduced I got really invested. I love this kind of action.
The world too is something that was fun to think about. It really makes me think what kind of residents you see out in the Stain...
At first I wasn't really sure if this story was something I'd like but after getting every ending, I found it pretty engaging (and hot). I really enjoy the body modification aspect, and the changing sprite was fun. I know more modifications equals astronomically more effort for such a short jam but this idea is really fun and I ended up wanting more!
