I can obv only speak for my own song contributions but the actual rig answer:
For COLLAPSE (OF THE BODY): I'm using a regular cheap 6-stringed electric guitar, with an MASF 13u22130x, OBNE Sunlight, and Fame Fiber Echo (might have also used a Mooer Tender Octaver after that? can't recall rn), and then I played it by gently tapping and caressing the strings with the insides of my fingers and palm
For Distance: I first recorded a very improv array of differently-fucked sounds. For this, I used a Pedaltree Brainfuck as the signal generator, and sent it through a bunch of combinations and configurations of the pedals mentioned above, plus a Sonicake Wavecrush and a Onerr DS-1. Then I cut up that recording in ableton and rearranged it into textures I liked, added some more mastering and digical effects, and the track was done :3
