Ah I'm so sorry this happened to you. Were you playing the web version? It's very large for a web game and this can cause issues for some people. If you can't play a downloaded version, you can save your files to your device using the three line option in the upper left hand of the screen that will let you import and export backup saves from your device. I would highly reccommend doing this for playing the web version in case you have any future issues with your web browser cache running out of space or getting cleared.
