Quick update: tested it again and if you run out of lives on stage 1, the hiscore text pops up fine. But on stage 2 it does what I showed in my video.
I'll go test it on stage 3 and 4 as well.
The hiscore entry works if you die on stages 3 and 4 as well, it's only on stage 2 that it doesn't come up. I'll just need to not die there!
