There's a lot of word building with lore and narrative here, which really helps to create a world outside of what we can see. it reminds me of a game version of the Fighting Fantasy, choose your own adventure books form the 80's. I really appreciated the pirate setting, the in-keeping fonts and language used. I can see a bigger game over time and you may choose to develop further. A great game jam entry.
