Is it allowed to modify fonts, eg add new glyphs?
Yes, if you need to add new glyphs for your designs please do (although you still can't then redistribute the font file as your "own" font obviously)
Nah, I’d rather contribute the glyphs upstream, if you’d be willing to accept them.
