This reminded me of Utopia Must Fall, if you've ever played it. The rail gun however does seem under-powered.
Unfortunately, haven't had a chance to play Utopia Must Fall. I agree about the railgun, I should have let it shoot through multiple better stacked asteroids and add some more meaningful "impact" feel
