Hello SnapDragon, I gave the game a shot in the browser version. I like the art and direction, and the idea.
In the browser version(during the gameplay) I have to scroll up and down to see all the windows contents idk if this is intentional or just some scaling/resolution issue.
- Is the gameplay fun and engaging?
at first, despite the tutorial I was still confused but it started to make sense and it is a pretty fun unique experience. I think a background soundtrack would be much better than the ambient synth sound. - Does the progression feel rewarding?
At night 4, I do not really feel like I have accomplished anything but make it to night 4 by clicking buttons. - Is the difficulty fair?
Hard to say, I lost to the first boss and reached day 8 and don't really know what I can do differently to beat him, the gameplay started to feel repetitive by the last night and I wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong. I will be honest I did not completely read the tutorial information, but 21+ panels of information to get started in a run is a lot of information for a new user trying to jump in and experience a run. I just experienced defeat, however, if I were to read and download more of the tutorial info, it is likely I may have had more of a chance. - Are the mechanics easy to understand?
The core mechanics seemed simple, but I am not sure if I was doing something wrong or what I could do differently in my first run to help me defeat the boss, I was a little confused overall. - What would make you want to keep playing?
More engaging soundtrack would help a lot, there is just an ambient synth the whole time. More rewards in the short term for the player because I don't feel I accomplished much in the first few nights and then just died and was confused what I can do differently.
