I really liked the movement mechanic.  It's weird enough that it takes a lot of getting used to, but once you get it down, it feels good.

The one big thing I would change here is just how punishing it is to lose.  For games like this, I feel like it's critical to be able to start again really fast if you make a mistake.  I really wanted to make it to the end but I just couldn't because of the really slow "you lose" screen and the need to navigate back to the game and start completely over; if I had been quickly sent back to the start of the level, I would have felt even more tempted to give it another go after each death.  In a similar vein, it would be great if the power-ups respawned after some amount of time so that messing one of them up doesn't cost you a whole run.

I quite liked the graphics (though before I realized I could look around with WASD I thought it was bugged because I couldn't see all of the text).  All of the robots were really charming.  The music is also cute and fits the game really nicely, though it does get a little bit repetitive toward the end.  The sound effects are funny.

I think there are great bones here to build on; it really sucked me in, and missing a jump made it really easy to say "just one more run..." and try again.  I think with a couple of little quality-of-life improvements, this could be a really really fun game.

All-in-all, though, still a very solid jam entry, and one that I had fun with despite not being able to make it to the end.  Nice work!

Thanks so much for the feedback. I'll make updates after the jam rating period, but in my brief playtesting I experienced the same thing. It was extremely last minute so I didn't really have time to change things, but I plan to add a tutorial level instead of all the floating text. I think for the harshness, I'll either do a level design, where there are loads of shorter levels, or add checkpoints to the main game. Thanks again for the comment, as all feedback is appreciated!
