The parallax in the backrounds is so cool. The title/intro for each boss is pretty funny too. The concept is super creative, but I just couldn't get by the 3rd one. It is probably a skill issue or a misunderstanding of the chained reactions mechanic. Anyway, for a first game jam, this is great, well done!

Super polished game. Fits theme well, and chill vibe. Could honestly see myself playing this on my phone. Well done!

Thanks for the feeback! I ran out of time and kind of had to throw together a level with all the components I made, was planning to add checkpoints. I've been working on the game since, and have added more music, powerups respawn, and fixed some janky-ness. I think there was an issue when exporting the game with my viewport being a strange size, but that should hopefully be fixed when I release the fixed version after the jam. I really appreciate any feedback and will try implement as many suggestions as possible, so thank you!

I love this game. The dialogue is great when you put things in the wrong order in the clues, really funny. Very polished feel, no idea how you crafted all this in 72 hours, seriously great job!

Cool game. Bang on theme. Visuals are super clean. Idk if I missed it but wished there was a way to delete and replace barrels etc... Also maybe after you restart, automatically place them where you had them, to avoid replacing which takes a while, then also the ability to click and drag to move them. Anyways, good game, well done!

Matches the theme very well, creative idea. It's satisfying to see large streaks of combos. Well done

Thanks so much for the feedback. I'll make updates after the jam rating period, but in my brief playtesting I experienced the same thing. It was extremely last minute so I didn't really have time to change things, but I plan to add a tutorial level instead of all the floating text. I think for the harshness, I'll either do a level design, where there are loads of shorter levels, or add checkpoints to the main game. Thanks again for the comment, as all feedback is appreciated!

Great game after a while. I played this longer than I'd like to admit, my wheel was starting to look mental towards the end. To be honest at the start I was getting very frustrated. I couldn't (and still don't) understand the purpose of the smiley face tokens, as when I  land on them it sets my rotation mult and thus my final score to zero, not sure if I'm missing something. It took me about half an hour to get past 100, but when I did, I really did start enjoying this game. Love the balatro style, the backround and music really add to that vibe, which I like. However in saying that I wouldn't say this is a rip-off or anything, it really does have its on unique spin on the genre (pun not intended). If I would suggest anything, is a tutorial and title screen (but fair enough this is a game jam), and maybe a variation in pitch to the sound effects, so they don't become grating after a while. This is getting very long, so as I said, great game after a while, well done!

I really enjoyed this. You were right in saying it was fun to figure out, because seeing how everything moves yourself is rewarding. A game I would have not the slightest clue on how to make, well done!

Thanks so much for the feedback, glad you enjoyed. Yea I realised I probably needed to playtest and balance more and have the game less rely on r and g, because I know you can get very unlucky as you said. I was thinking of implementing some kind of safe option where you gain a small amount instead of spinning a wheel but didn't have time to add. Reviews like this make my day, so thanks again!

Art style really cool. There's probably a technique to it I'm missing, but the spinning using the mouse would work for 2 seconds, stop, then work again. I found it much more consistent using space (great that option is there). If anything negative, all I'd say is the title screen is a little empty. Creative idea for the theme, and overall loved the game. Well done!

This game is great. Really satisfying sound effects, and when you land multiple of the same icon. Really cool take on the theme. Mushroom art is cool. I died late on in my first run, but on my second run, after beating the game, I seen that there's variation in the enemies which is cool. The art style and sounds work well together to create a coherent game (I just mean everything matches, and feels in place). Great job!

Beat the game in 160 launches (not my best work). I like this take on the theme as a puzzle game. It was fun, only part that got frustrating for me is when had to use about 80 launches just to move the 4 boxes in a corner, they were getting stuck. It was probably me just being bad at it though. Good job!

Love the idea of Gerald rolling into a ball to match the theme. Backround, and Gerald's art is great. I have no idea how to code that spiderman mechanic, it's fun to play around with. It would be cool to see more sound effects for Gerald when he swings around or walks for example. As your first game, you should be proud, well done, hope to see more in the future!

Enjoyed this game. Chill music, cool way to see the theme interpreted. Found all the stars, and enjoyed the calm atmosphere, well done!

Thanks for the feedback! Love your game

This does not feel like a game jam game. It's so polished. The title screen is so stylized, the art direction is so cool, and the sound effects match. The humour is great, love Mr. Questions dialogue as you spin. Really fun gameplay loop, got the same kind of grip as balatro, makes you want to keep coming back. Amazing game. I can't fault the game itself in anyway, but would like it if I could go fullscreen on web version.

I finished this game, and really enjoyed it. I felt the backround was a bit sparse just being grey, I guess it might be too distracting from the wheel, but would have liked office theme or something. Art style for title screen is fantastic and super clean ui. Wish the items purchased were visualised somehow, like for example after buying the propellor hat your character wears it. Matched theme really well, and minigame is really fun, sound effects fit super well for wheel. Good game.

Wow, this is the best game I've played in this jam so far. You've got a whole skill tree! I really enjoyed it, I've just completed one run, but this is seriously fun. The realistic mixed with cartoonish art style is great, that font looks amazing, the epic music is cool too. If I was to fault anything, it's just the goblins look a bit out of place, unless there was more types or something. It's just all of the rest of the enemies I've encountered so far are slime-like. Another thing is I would have loved more sound effects, for killing enemies for example. I understand it could sound repetitive since eventually you kill so many at a time, I just think adding some kind of feedback other than the numbers would be nice. This has gotten way to long, so basically, LOVE this game, great job. Creative, silly idea too which is perfectly on theme.

I couldn't get past round 3 because by that stage I had no actions. If I tried to gain actions earlier I'd just lose because they'd use theirs to shoot me every time. I'm probably just bad though, creative take on the theme.

At the start I thought it was nearly impossible to match their speed, but actually got used to it over timer, fun, unique mechanic. The story is silly which I like, I just wish the environments had more to them, as someone else said to distinguish between areas, and have landmarks for navigation. It would be cool if you had to escape with the vinyl and there was some kind of bonus gameplay. Liked this game, well done!

Love the concept of upgrades being based on slot machines, and its animation. I wish it was more visible what the upgrades do, have them make a bigger difference, and maybe for them to be random to some degree, to match the slot machine aesthetic (don't know if it would work in gameplay).  As a whole really enjoyed this game and its vibe. + wish there was more animations for the player, and maybe more custom ui for health, bullets left, slot selection, etc...

Love the art style and the funny descriptions of your moves in the wheel. Seen someone else say this but do wish the game was a bit more interactive, still enjoyed it though.

I really enjoy the card game, art style and the sound effects of the cards. The only thing is I've been playing for like 20 minutes and despite winning around 80% of the time, because of swap and equals on the wheel I'm not really making any progress. Idk I could just be getting very unlucky. Otherwise great game. Another thing is I would have loved audio for the wheel spinning.

Silly game, like the satisfying ca-ching sound when you buy things. Nice menu. Fun strategic game. Idk why they're fish (and have swords) but I love it, adds to silliness.

Thanks for the feedback!

I honestly love this game. Humour is great, and love the twist of the dungeon. Its funny how literally everything spins too. Know you ran out of time, but would have loved to have seen those puzzles. Great job! Edit: Forgot to say but would have loved audio, idk if its just me but there was none, doesn't really affect my enjoyment though, still enjoyed it.

Love the concept of doing spin related minigames. I would say though I got the typing one first and I feel it took way too long. Same with the id match one, with a two minute timer, it feels like ages. Otherwise love the game, funny minigames in a "serious" office.

Funny game. Very serious music, creative take on the theme. Just wanted more to do.

I liked the dialogue that came up after destroying a few houses. On theme and silly, good game.

I like the themed music for each area, and think that the collect UI that tells you which bar you got is cool. I did get stuck in the hidden sands though and couldn't get out. I also like the variety in platforms (so far) such as the bouncy ones and the quicksand, cool game.

Really smooth gameplay. The sprites and sound effects all have the same style which I like, nothing feels out of place.  Very polished start to a game, would have loved to see music and more of the same, very fun!

The art style is so unique, really well done. The gameplay loop is enjoyable and the music matches the game's silliness perfectly. Great game!

Cool concept! Fun gameplay loop. I enjoyed the intro, it's on theme, silly and funny and music is really good. UI could be more colourful/unique, but for a jam this is great!
