Thanks! I enquired about the save drive situation on the DAAD forum a while ago. As far as I understand it, the drive selection is hard baked into the interpreter, which was created for the A500 in the 1990s. I'm not sure that this will be changed any time soon, but  I'm glad you found a way around it.  EDIT: I guess that you would prefer to play the game on a real Amiga, but an alternative is https://adventure-player.com/ which can run the .ADF file in a browser, and SAVEs are held locally.

Right, I'm playing it on a real Amiga. I didn't know about the adventure-player website though, thanks for the info. :)
