Really enjoyed the concept and the art style.
The concept and art are really strong, but the game feels a bit too ambitious for a 48-hour jam.
A smaller, more polished experience would help the gameplay shine.
Combat could feel more responsive, movement would benefit from diagonal controls and better input handling, and the early-game difficulty could be toned down a little so players have more time to explore before the first night.
For a 48-hour game jam, this is pretty solid
