I didn't really vibe with this one. Not a fan of the prose, but the overall story is good. I loved how cold Valentina got towards the end. "It's not like any of their families are alive. It's the old west. People made shit up all the time."
I liked how pathetic the employee looked.
The characters are very round. Soft. It is a pretty soft story, though. The folklore was nice, but I wish they got a better look at the light.
