I considered the ending to be particularly sad, actually. The main plot in the bookstore is pretty decent, even more with the Gandharva's (Aryaman) suggestion, but the cooking scenes I felt were half baked - just not enough time in the oven. It's been mentioned in other reviews, but making the food took more time than saying what it means, and I felt it could've been either more balanced, or just... longer.
Presentation is great, and the style is absolutely charming, the music's great and it's like a brother to me.
That last shot with Aryaman, leading to the end... I was sad. It felt like all his supernatural powers were abandoned, and all because he just had to be a human... wait, no...
Just wish it showed up again, after the first time.
Good work!
