It was shorter than I antipated but I enjoyed the humour. Going to a bar, a place filled with sour things - but even without drinking one is already soured. That's because someone is right next to Wonder and every little movement and breath and word is loud.
I'm not left with the idea that he changed by the end of the novel, but some places, you need to actually go there enough times to be able to simply breathe in peace, and I thought a bar was one such place.
