Loved the amount of drawn backgrounds and character sprites, the mushrooms. At some point the world jumping starts to feel old, and it was at that moment did I read, even the protagonist is cycling through all the worlds, until finding something that cannot die in a way that matters. Similarly, El (at least, one version of them) gains trust that can't be killed in a way that matters. Even if Kali leaves again, it's only a matter of time until they come back. Nice work!
