I am glad you decided to finish it instead of giving up. This game manages to make it all work thanks to how the design elements bounce off of each other. The out of left field writing, the adherence to less is more, the mysterious atmosphere all help bring together a “forbidden game” vibe that to me harkens back to the early days of itch.io pre-quarantine/mid-quarantine 2020 spooky jams.
