The first novel that caught my attention at this jam. On the plus side: it’s an atmospheric and sincere work; you quickly grow attached to the characters and empathize with them. However, the narrative style is a bit uneven, and the story itself drags on a bit; there were moments when I wanted to start skipping over Daisy’s repetitive self-reflection. Nevertheless, my overall impression is positive: it’s not perfect, but good and sincere work. Good luck to the authors.
