However, if you are interested in publishing your BASIC jam for hobbyists in the BASIC programming world now or in the near future.. That's great because your jam may attract another group of BASIC hobbyists(because some hobbyists may not like the format or style of my "Jam for All BASIC Dialects"). Do you agree? Sure. So.....don't wait, start creating and publishing your BASIC jam now. It is easy to create jams with Itch's functions. Jam #8 may or may not be postponed(depending on the period of your BASIC jam).
I really want to see another kind of BASIC jam: different format, different rules, longer or shorter than 1 month for submitting period, etc. Many possibilities! The more BASIC jams we see, the more excellent and entertaining games made by hobbyists in various BASIC dialects we will enjoy. In conclusion , start now!!!!! Good luck and don't wait!
