What browser/os? That sounds like a failure pretty early on...I may have gotten bitten from some experimentation with ES3 that I forgot to turn off :(.  I'll take that out after the rating ends since I'm not currently using it for anything.

Win11, just chrome latest version. It may be some bug on my side. I will try different backend a little bit later (out of home now), but if I believe I was using d3d11

I changed the ANGLE backend to D3D11 Warp and it worked. Box3d is really a thing. Cool that you figure out how to use it in a webgl game
