Bearer of Sin certainly has good things going for it. The art is gorgeous, and the individual story elements are interesting to read in their melodramatic drama. But yeah, it is clear that the project ran out of time. The back end of the game lacks music and even art, and the writing is so full of mistakes it's hard to ignore. and makes some things difficult to understand. Crucially, to me, is that those individual story elements don't really come together. We have the apparent main plot of finding a cure, which seems to get forgotten for most of the runtime. Solis is a cutie and I found his backstory the most intriguing, but it was honestly hard to follow what was happening during those plot beats. Lillia's focus also felt like it came out of nowhere; the town has an underage brothel I, think? I say think, because she presumably killed her husband(?) in retaliation of marital rape (good!) which I thought happened like a decade ago, but the well reveal suggests it was pretty recent? If there's anything to take away from my feedback it's just to make information flow more clearly to do away with confusions like these.
I'll try to remember to check on this project later though. I think I'd enjoy it a lot more after it has had time to get everything in place. I usually give a normal star rating on top of jam comments, but I don't want to give an unfavorable one on something that's not representative of the project at its best.
