Your designs are really nice. Good layout and art. Do you hand draw it? And do you have any advice for me, my rules are only a couple pages, but they don't look good like yours.
That art is public domain, art and graphics I found online, I can draw for example my profile picture but it takes time. Since this was for the Eternal game Jam, I have to go quicker. My advice is to think like every idea is a gear or tool that could be manipulated and that is my game philosophy for this system therefore, I'm going to have a lot more rules however rules do not need to be so extensive, if you can explain it with fewer words and even simpler words that can easily be understandable to the reader and easy to comprehend, the better so they can understand the game easier. From what I saw of your work from the intro, I think it could be organized more thoroughly, have less open space, and a little bit more context to expand certain important aspects like the character card, which may or not decrease the page count even further. I'm not going to criticize you for this but I immediately could tell more of the visuals used Google drawing tools and the text is in a Doc format which is good for conceptual use but not a final product. I recommend using more document making websites and software like Canva if going on the cheaper end because it's free, or Affinity. I also recommend to join some game jams to get some clout, make game people will for sure to look at, and be with like-minded people.
I hope that was not in poor taste, criticism is needed to grow, especially when starting something new and you're welcome. If you need any advice, you can ask me as an option. Even though I'm also a greenhorn developer I believe my work could also need some work and requires more criticism and review.
