Do you mean your save files? If so, sometimes the game from Itch might not sync saves over correctly. You may need to grab them from the backup/sync folder.
You can find that in:
AppData\Roaming\RenPy\AHouseintheRift
No It literally won't update to the new version i'm stuck on the 8.something still cuz the game for some reason won't read the compressed pack
It might be a faulty download.
I'd recommend trying to snag it from our Patreon. You'll need a Patreon account but its free to create if you don't have one already.
