Hello! I want to start off by saying that I really enjoyed playing this game. The story, music, artwork, and the character interactions were all really enjoyable. Thank you for making this game! I love the idea of an adventure game like this with a hefty slice of well-written romance. It's nice to see, and I'm looking forward to all your future developments. :)

I do have some questions in how to get some endings, though. I got Jeth's pendant and I'm pretty certain I got the rebirth ending and the one where you bring something with you, or Jeth phone ending. I'm confused on how to get the ending mentioned in the document about having the pendant but remaining as the transient one. Maybe it's related to VP, but the document didn't really specify exactly how to get this.

Also, I'm a little confused on how VP works. I tried a save where I had just under 10 VP, and noticed it bumped to one more (10) after having a positive bond conversation with Deita. I'm guessing any interaction with the "villains" would naturally bump it up, so I may need to restart the game with little VP as possible? This was in a playthrough trying to get the option of siding with Brookhaven while having Jeth's pendant. I wanted to experience the kidnapping, lol.

Anyway, sorry for the wall of text and my lack of understanding. I would be grateful for your help and hope it isn't too inconvenient. Thanks!

Hi there,

Spoiler

In order to get to stay as the Transient One, you need to be on Jeth's route, have his pendant and bond 6.

When you have the dream from the gods answer the following:

"No, it's not fair!"

"I want to return to the simulation."

"Don't care. Send me back."

"No, let me resume."

In order to keep your VP low and get the "kidnapped" ending you have to side with Brookhaven WITHOUT romancing anyone. Try to choose all benevolent options and politely refuse any romantic advances from any of the characters. If your VP is 10 or less, the night before the war departure, you will overcome your drowsiness and catch watermage before he leaves.

"Where are you going?"

"Wait... Take me with you!"

"I want to help the Great Seer."

Watermage will get scholar Beileph and the three of you will plan your escape the next day when the carriages are leaving for Brookhaven.

Much of the war goes the same as Deita's route but instead watermage drops more and more hints about being in love with the MC. at the end of the war, during the last conversation with the gods, choose all the same options to "stay as the transient one" as shown above and there will be a scene where watermage leaves to get some tea for the MC and Jeth grabs the MC from the shadows, presumably kidnapping them.

Hope this helps!

Thanks so much for your feedback <3

Hey, thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to help me! This was super helpful, and you're welcome for the feedback!

Spoilers (Just in case for others)

Also, holy shit.. I just did the transient ending and Jeth really went off the deep end, but that CG was well done and soo worth it. My goodness. You outdid yourself there, lol. I love how you write yanderes, truly.

Ooh, now that makes sense. I don't know why I was thinking I still had to romance Jeth, but I'm guessing you get a high enough bond levels while politely rejecting all of them. Does this mean the most I need is bond lv 4 or 5 with each of them, or can it be less than that for the kidnapping?

Speaking of water mage, it's funny because I ended up doing exactly like the one commentator who wished to romance them. I started with ADW: Villain's Heart first, mainly for Jeth, but found a huge soft spot for the water mage!! I definitely plan to play ADW next and romance him.

Hi Gumiisland,

I believe you need to bond with them for the chapter quest, but beyond that it shouldn't matter as long as you don't get romantically involved. Hope this helps

Also I think it's interesting that Jeth and Watermage have some cross over appeal. Maybe because they are both obsessively attentive lol. Jeth sort of sees it and is a bit threatened by it. He picks on/ bullies watermage particularly during the war if you have them battle each other.

Spoiler for ADW

Also tries to pull this same tactic in ADW if you choose to cooperate with the Crown. Choose to work with the crown if you want to see Jeth crash out here and there on bonding convos because he was late to the party lol.

Thanks again. That actually helps a lot.

It is! I bet you're right because that's normally what draws me to a male lead over another, haha. Both are affectionate in that unhinged sort of way. It don't hit the same when a guy is ONLY sweet and normal, you know?

Oh shit, really?? Now thinking about it, Jeth did make a point to trash him harshly when we went against him. I just figured it was because he was in my deployment for that specific wave.

Now that's interesting!! I don't know at all what happens in ADW, but that's hilarious he crashes over being late to the "Transient One" party.

That's another thing to look forward to! I swear, you really do leave plenty of golden nuggets that makes your games replayable. I can't wait (again)!
