I am very interested in this game!
I agree with the previous comment, it does look very polished and gives a rush of nostalgia.
However, it does lack a proper introduction or tutorial. I too played only a few rounds, not because I lost interest but because there are so many exciting options to choose from and very little to be learned when choosing them.
Side note: There is another title here on itch.io incredibly similar to this, even with an identical color theme to the layout, which also lacked a proper introduction or beginner friendly first play experience.
I'd love to explore this game more if you do get around to making a short and simple intro round/campaign to help a wannabe strategist like myself familiarize themselves with your game board/features. It does look like it could be hours of fun if I understood more.
