It's not a bad game, but it's not for me. The content and art style intrigue me, but I'm not looking to spend most of my time in a porn game playing a card battler, especially when the cards themselves don't seem to have any nudity. I might be willing to pay a few dollars for a straightforward scene/conversation viewer without the card battler stuff.

I was also put off by the disparaging of other creatives with the "no generative art" declaration in the opening—you don't want to use it, no problem, and I have no problem with you being proud of that fact. But "who wants to support someone who writes prompts all day" is awfully close to "who wants to support someone who draws on the computer all day". Using different technology well still requires skill, even if those skills look different.

trust me, you do not spend a lot of time with the cards, and its a mix between cards and rock, paper, scissors so its nothing complex. and not only that, but theres a point where you are so op you can instawin all the battles. i mean if you dont want to spend most of your time playing a game thats okay, but dont put it like its the game's fault

I appreciate you trying to help me avoid missing out. I don't think I really blamed the game or the developers for me not liking the core gameplay; I just expressed a preference for the core gameplay to be more related to the adult content.

Personally, I do feel like all of the synergies like weather and season and outfits, the Bird card (which was the one mechanic that did strike me well), and the special abilities do add enough complexity that it goes well beyond simple rock paper scissors. For folks who like card battlers, that may be a source of fun, and there's nothing wrong with that. But as someone who doesn't really care about that genre and downloaded this game for porn first and foremost, I think it's understandable that the complexity and centrality of the card battler gameplay turned me off.

I respect the devs wanting to make a good game that's also pornographic rather than pornography that happens to have a game attached, but the risk with that approach is that some of your audience won't like the game you create. I'm in that camp, and that's not a problem the developers need to solve, but equally there's value in me explaining my thoughts so that someone else who feels the way I do about card battlers might save some time and skip this one. Doesn't mean the game is bad, it's just not for me, which is why I led with that in my first comment.

So, your argument about how generative AI is just another art form is laughable.

Other art forms aren't so massively inefficient and environmentally destructive that entire communities have to go without water and power so some lazy moron can type "dracula titties" into a prompt box fifty times until dracula appears with the anatomically correct amount of fingers.

Other art forms aren't massive oligarch-backed plagiarism machines that chew up untold amounts of works by actual living breathing artists with no respect for their copyrights and spit out what I can only describe as Corporate Memphis for sports betting ads and hentai gacha scams.

Other art forms are actually capable of establishing artistic styles and moods and such because the people rendering them possess cognition and object permanence that allows them to synthesize their own experiences and ideas and limitations into something original and not just a soulless knockoff of whatever subject was fed into the slop machine enough to make it statistically weighted higher than all the other stolen art.

For instance, someone intentionally applied mid-century modern design principles and took inspiration from period machinery to make Fallout look like it was set in the 50's. The slop machine makes everything look like Fallout because statistically, Fallout has the most power armor images freely available to steal from Google images and stick in your idiot prompt box.

Oh, and other art forms can't be tricked into making CSA materials of living people. That one's just a lil' bonus for anyone with morals.

But hey, let's not disparage any of the plagiarists wrecking the planet because they're too lazy to learn any of the skills of the people they're actively stealing from, just so Elon can monopolize then charge you a subscription to access your spank bank. That might put you off.
