What do you mean? No one asked me, but I can have an opinion — and mine is no to any gay nonsense. I’m totaly happy about not agreeing with that phase
They could always just make everyone gender fluid like with End Date, passing as either regardless of their choice of the day, then they don't have to do the scripting and CGs (by the way, AI would make that a lot easier) for two (or worse, more) genders and everyone can easily self-insert and also have their preferred gender of love interest. Then everyone wins! Except for all the people angry they look like a child!
I know this is a troll comment, (haha gottem, right) but to anyone else who actually thinks like this; I will never make a game like End Date again, for the exact reason that it is not good representation and I am aware of that. End Date wasn't meant to be; it was a wish fullfillment game. I don't want to make self insert games; I want there to be clear representation and people to feel seen. Anyone bothered by that can go play something else. I don't want to appeal to everyone. Also I'm not sure what you mean that I wouldn't have to 'do the scripting', it would absolutely be MORE scripting to make every single character genderfluid. Lastly fuck AI, I would rather bake a cake with no chocolate chips than put feces as a substitute.
