i did unfortunately speedrun the game by immediately using [spoilers, but info from the exposition] in the itchio page, thinking it was the first clue i should use, might be nice to either not put that on there, or make it not allowed to be the first thing you do. i did retry to do all the other puzzles after (in hopes of getting a good ending haha) and they were really fun! i liked the use of the dog image especially, nice touch. overall a good time, great atmosphere.
