Infiltrate - I quite like this interpretation of a stealth track. I can almost feel the pressure of avoiding detection, probably due to the bass being so present in the mix to my ears. The harmonic movement in this track also felt well executed, kinda wish we could hear that just a little more IMO.

Evacuate - You mention Helldivers in your description and I can see how that influenced this track in particular. To me this feels like narrowly escaping from an ambush while trying to complete mission objectives. Really cool stuff.

Reprisal (Main Theme) - My only feedback here is that it felt like it took a little too long to get into the melody IMO, especially considering that it's only about 90 seconds. It aligns well with the other two tracks in its tone, but I personally think a little more could be done melodically speaking.

A somewhat short, but well done soundtrack overall. The arrangements for each track was good, but I especially liked your usage of bass instruments across the whole submission. The production overall was also excellent. I also like the blend of classical instruments with synthesizers, but I do kinda wish you leaned into those electronic elements a touch more considering the theme IMO. I could totally see this being a part of a soundtrack for the games you took inspiration from.

Thanks for sharing what you've made, and keep up the good work :)

I appreciate the more detailed analysis!

I agree with you, I should have made the synths a little less of an undertone. I was hoping to get at least one or two more songs done, but I stretched myself too thin with other jams running concurrently. I just finished a game jam last night. Maybe I'll get around to at least finishing the Automaton theme. That was much more synthetic. I think you're right about the main theme. I was kinda going for a similar vibe to the main theme from The Outer Worlds, but to your point, the motif for that starts immediately.

I'm glad that you and several others seemed to enjoy it overall though! Evacuate was the first one I made and is also my favorite. I think it turned out the best of all of them.
