Hey, you should be able to 'Reflect on identity' (from the Home activities) and lower it. If this activity is not available (because you already did it today), you'd need to skip a day (by performing or using one of the Rest activities ). If you cannot do this either - can you please send me your save (as a text) to the feedback form? I'll take a look what's wrong.
I could do that, but when i would try I only got options that increased the bar even more, never reducing it. Unfortunately I already erased my save out of frustration. if there were supposed to be options that lowered it then for whatever reason they never appeared for me. ill see if i can reproduce the issue and send you the save.
