this game has stunning visual design that's peachy, fleshy, and vulnerable with like pastel tenderness and a fierce, stubborn attempt to understand the root of misunderstanding, miscommunication, frustration, and self-loathing that leads to rootless envy of others and mutual upset. the mirroring of the two people and how similar yet slightly different but fundamentally the same rhetoric of frustrated, sabotaged desire and the inability to vent it really worked so well in the diptych format with really strong color cohesion, expression, and gesture in the limited, minimalist, and effective line art. i think it communicates an experience of dysphoria that many trans people will understand and resonate with
