Hi Cookie-Crumb!

Cool game!

First impressions:

- I like the retro visual feel.

- When pressed ESC to pause the game and reveal the menu I wanted to refer back to How to Play, but it wasn't there.

- It was hard for me to see the sunglasses - maybe slightly bigger or nudge it over to the left?

- I like the level menu where it shows your time on the levels you have beat.

- The spike swing in level 3 is when I started to get an intutive feel for the claw

- I'm frequently moving the claw away so I can see my player more clearly. Can starting to use the keypad hide the claw somehow?

- In the instructions it says fake walls, but some are walls and some are floors/ceilings, so it wasn't obvious. Maybe they could be called blocks or something?

- I'm sure you've considered this already, but showing a rope or swing could be make it more visual intuitive / obvious where the points of contact are supposed to be.

- I frequently misjudged jump distances it would be nice if it were more forgiving.

Play Summary:

Level 1: 6 tries; then 35 seconds

Level 2: 3 tries; then 67 seconds

Level 3: 2 tries; then 78 seconds

Level 4: got frustrated; I did a lot of backtracking, and then realized there might be another block re-placement that I have to go fetch that block again. I think the need for backtracking was the pain point. Could this level fit onto one screen perhaps?

Overall I like the concept of controlling the character in a traditional and also untraditional way at the same time.

I am Happy you liked my game, and gaev it such kind words, 


I am replying on your issues In order:

-How to play problem: the How to play button is is the start menu, so you have to go back to the menu if you want to see this. 

I wanna improve score: 3/10  (10 is, im doing it now, 0 is I am doing it never)  since the pause menu gets too big and all, I like to rather keep it in the Main menu


-sunglasses: what do you mean? the Item Itself? or the icon in the Hud?


-claw in sight: I think theres Enaugh space to move the claw so the player stays visible, but I could maybe Implement a key like V to make the claw invisible untill you move it again or smth.

-fake walls Unclarity: yeh your rigth, that is confusing, Indeed.

-Put a rope or Smth between player and hand to make It more clear you are Gappling, and where: yes youre rigth, I had this In early times of my game, But I thogth It looked off...

- jump distance: If I would know how, since you have to have a Fixed jump length and all, Wich is: you can land on Platforms 3 blocks above you, and you can reach platforms 7 blocks away from you, at max  

I wanna improve score: 0/10 * **


-Level difficulty and missleading Box: yes, difficulty curve is on my list, so The game Will have a easy start and get harder over time, so you can figure out how to play; If you ment the missleading box in level 4 at the beginning.... mwea... Ima remove it. Its a leftover

may you have noticed the * at the bad ratings, Since they are all about accessibility, I am Now driven to build a Accessibility function that covers all of that Including the following: 


If you have a hard time playing the game, due to maybe it is too fast? I have a feature like that already! Its called slowmo and is currently in development, But if you press the C key at any point in the level, The level you play, Will run in 60% speed, so you may  have more time to react.

For the sunglasses, I thought the sprite was too hard to see (maybe too small?) in level 1. It was up against a wall and made it difficult to find. I don't usually require accessibility, but for some reason the sprite disappeared into the wall. Cheers Cookie I hope that helps!
