As someone who thought they were a big UFO50 head, the fact that I didn't know about the bonus game until I played this is very funny to me. That tricky restoration team always hiding something. The presentation is really cool. I like how this acts as something of a continuation or side story to Pilot's ongoing plotline within UFOSoft's works. The photographer being just kinda aware of everything makes sense with how the games tend to tie together, and everyone just kinda knowing each other helps sell that.
I appreciate how some puzzles here are representative of things from the games rather than being straight recreations of different sprites (such as Barbuta's Purple Moon or Attactics' Overwhelm puzzles). Also, I legit didn't realize the OST was fully original! One of the songs I heard sounded like one of the Warptank tracks so I just thought UFO50's OST was used here. Shows how well the tsk did with the soundtrack.
That said, something wird happened. I had purchased everything from both shops, started doing the final set of bonus puzzles, went back to finish the regular puzzles, and when I was at 243/250 the crystal just... stopped responding. Like, it'd still have the energy circles, but it wouldn't spawn any particle effects. I thought maybe having it set to do the same game three times in a row via my targetitng messed it up, so I switched the targetting, but nothing changed. Removed it, nothing changed. Did a few bonus puzzles, still nothing. Saved, went to the title screen, reloaded the game, still nothing. Took fully closing the game and reopening it to fix the issue. Weird, that.
