In my opinion, this game represents Fuze at the height of his powers, which means it comprises all of this creator's strengths and weaknesses. You Make My Heart Rumble features all the fun, upbeat sexy shenanigans I've come to expect (and enjoy), plus a great sense of aesthetics that makes it stand out.

The amount of unique artwork is impressive, but I was more surprised at how well they were employed. Transitions, blocking, and visual effects are consistent and easy to follow thanks to skillful direction. These elements work together especially well during the action near the end, when they come together pretty much perfectly.

The story here is such a joy, too. The premise may be on the simpler side, but it works fine to carry the levity the game is going for. One small issue I had was the amount of seemingly pointless moments that bring a mild level of bloat to some scenes. While I do think to game tries to give importance to these flashes, I fear it never scrubs away their superficiality.

Also, the project isn't exactly breaking the mold when compared to Fuze's other works. Take away the great visual direction, and You Make My Heart Rumble still displays limited body type diversity, flimsily established stakes, as well as the aforementioned instances of fluff. Being a fan of his for a while, these problems don't really bother me much and the game does make up for some of them, but they were noticeable points as I played.

Still, as I said from the top, this is some of Fuze's best. It's fun and sexy, with more than enough to make it memorable.
