I played this game for almost an hr, got to the point where you have your first born.
The biggest surprise in the game was the wife bringing in lunch and giving three boosts, that is so satisfying and really got me hooked to the game.
The loop in general is quite addictive.
Some potential points of improvement:
- When the level ends music plays that makes you feel like you lost. I think that can be changed? Since there is no real lose win loop.
- The start of the game has TOO few seconds in the gameplay. I think that can easily be buffed by 10-20 seconds without affecting the core loop.
- It would be great to see the stats in some way during the upgrade screen.
Overall this was a very fun experience and I will come back to play. Fantastic job!
