One may wonder how much more peak this game will be.

I must say, awesome work as always. I don't think I've ever been so impatient to play a game.

I thought of a couple things that could be interesting additions, perhaps a dozer blade could be added as a melee weapon (I don't know how useful it'd be as a pure melee tool, though), it could make it easier for the mech to bust through buildings and push cars (KILLDOZERRRRR) and maybe it could flip mines over and make them detonate without damaging the player mech. For that same purpose I also thought of the flail thing that was on the Sherman Crab, it could be a fun addition, I guess it would justify the melee aspect better.

Another thing, perhaps as an alternative to the APS, a directional shield could be interesting? It could be like the energy shields in AC6. I'd say they'd need to not be able to be activated for long, but if they're activated right before receiving damage, it could do a parry and not consume energy? Could be a good counter to the crabs.

A sweeping melee could be interesting too, I dunno.

Not many ideas for weapons, this time around, just holding onto the nuclear flash idea.

Oh, actually, what about a sonic crowd control secondary? It could make sense, piloted vehicles are hollow inside and it would stop the enemies from piloting correctly! And disturb the crabs and worms. Gameplay wise, it shouldn't be able to affect drones and such, though.

Okay, I'm all out of ideas.

But again, wonderful work! Don't burn out, take it slow, we'll all wait patiently.

Cheers.

Thanks for the ideas! The mine plow and directional shield are interesting. The APS shield in the game may be changed for a parry system where you have to hit a button at the right time or hold it down for it to be active. The sonic crowd control weapon is also intriguing, though perhaps a bit too specialized.
