The Marianna card is entirely capable of defeating belladona really fast when combo'd with the right draw cards + deck config. I've done it myself on the current version. If you fairy guide's height is a mess then just simply make a good fairy fire/eruption deck. The other special fairy card besides marianna that you start with in the quest happens to chain into a fairy eruption generating variant to boot even should your draft picks totally suck.
