Thank you for all the feedback, I was worried about the font and I will change it to something more readable for main text. The fullscreen option seems really easy to implement, I will get that added with the next update. There should be no time pressure with the game. I'm going for a more laid back feel where you make progress over time adopting more cats, buying more upgrades and eventually even other cafes to have multiple going at once.
The adoption menu not pausing was intentionally, I want the game to keep running while you are in menus so the passive income and time based features (like being able to play with cats again) keeps moving. If you have ever played Cookie Clicker that is kind of what I picture for the long term playability of the game. I want the amount of money and things going on to scale and get to a insane level. It is supposed to just keep scaling up into bigger and bigger purchases. It is constantly going passively, the reward for playing and upgrading things is that it scales up faster. Kind of just infinite growth.
There was a typo on Birdie's info, customers and cat movement will be adjusted as time goes on, just rushed to get a prototype out. The upgrade and Cafe's menu will also be expanded on later, I can add coming soon boxes to them in the next patch along with a keep playing/quit option on game over.
