i did enjoy this game and the art style is beautiful, but i wished i’d known before playing that it ends on a huge cliffhanger/sequel bait basically with so many questions left unanswered. overall, i’d still recommend. i loved valencia, mandra, and esma so much.

I'm glad you liked it! I'll add that to game description--don't want anyone thinking my game is a "sequel bait" 🤣🤣🤣 but i'm guessing you're a new player, cause I always release my games for free and update them from start to finish for free, and only start charging for them a month after the 100% finished version has been released, which is why I can't see why anyone would think that. :P
I also think you might not have understood the story structure in this one. This first game focuses on DCxMathias, on the Blooming, and the machinations behind it, which were all resolved in the first game. What happens next acts as the preparation/introduction for the rest of the story, so it's not a "cliffhanger." It's the beginning of a new act.
