I dunno I am surprised Kal has not done Dr.Muramasa in with stress at this point 😅

Last update was in Feb, doubt there is any stress or deadlines :P Patreon pays out well regardless 😂

I dunno man, the current Patreon intake might seem comfortable, but it's pretty much exactly what's needed to keep things sustainable for a small team working on two projects. One big unexpected hit like legal issues, a major bug that tanks reputation, or rising costs and it could get dicey fast. No huge safety net there.

Plus, I think Kal has real ambitions for growth, so scaling up to be a bigger player in the space would need a lot more revenue than you are seeing now.

That said, my comment about Dr. Muramasa was mostly just a whimsical jest 😂 Every time it feels like we're closing in on something, it's "I have a wonderful new idea..." and the scope expands again. Classic Kal life

All for expanding their team so we can get more stuff. Have a feeling Steam sales for Starmaker will go bananas. People tend to use steamdb to see what is highly rated and then buy it, am confident it will have a +90% score on there.

If you ask Kai when it will be updated, he will tell you 2026. If you ask Dr.Muramasa, he will tell you that we have fixed a few bugs and expect it to take a few weeks. If you ask the fans, they will say don't worry, take your time. Oh, this is terrible!
