Congratulations on making progress!
I've been working on making my 3D character movement (in Godot) for a while as well...
Far from being happy with.
Here are my results:

Now I am working on a rigidbody character:

I gave up on mixamo animations. I wanted to keep the camera attached to the character's bones. That way you get a interesting shaking effect. Mixamo animations have a weird trembling making the camera shake too much and I wanna avoid blender. When I open blender is like all time is getting sucked into a black hole...
I tried using boolean modifiers to make my 3d worlds. It a bit simpler... but still painful XD.
Good job again and keep it going! Never give up !

Thanks, I was not sure whether to bother submitting, due to how early on in development, your comment lifted my sprits :) I played Hasten Alpha - I'm admittedly not much of a platform player, so couldn't even finish the first level haha (that's a me, not you problem) but I thought the character movement and animations looked great! Thanks for the heads up about the mixamo shaking issue - next time I decide to use a camera set up like that, I'll try to remember! I know exactly what you mean about Blender though. Back at ya - keep going!
