I'm really happy you liked the visuals! The orange soldier isn't actually the villain. The player (the tornado) is the one destroying the buildings and the people. He's part of a special unit that's sent out to fight the tornado! (You can spot the logo on his arm if it's not too small to see.) The alien is here to save the world too... but also because it wants to conquer it. I agree, the orange soldier would probably get along really well with your Bazooka Boy :) And yeah, I ran out of time to add sound effects, so I had to leave them out.
