not bad as a concept but it needs more gameplay polish and you need to add background music not just SFX and it would be great to add dodge mechanic to the game.
more gameplay would also be great and the ship feels empty so that also needs some work.
other than that not bad for a one week game i can see great potential if you expand on it maybe take inspiration from other pirate games like black flag.
