Wow, this was a hell of a trippy read. There's something very hypnotic about the way you've written the story here, from the first paragraph I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. I love how much worldbuilding you included in such a short time without taking focus away from the main characters (who are both fantastic). I will definitely be keeping an eye out for the full game.
