Pretty good for a first jam game! I like the style and appreciate the retro sound design. A bit confusing at first but got the hang of it. I feel like movement could be made a bit more fluid, especially knockback after bouncing off stuff, but probably would have eaten up a lot of time.

I definitely agree about the movement, I probably could've fixed that in time but I think I freaked myself out with doing the art and music because I've never really made any music before lol. I wanted to at least make it feel as cohesive as possible, but I feel like I kind of neglected the actual gameplay x,D There will be an update after the jam though!
