Really interesting idea and great graphics (surprised at how smoothly it runs in browser!) but could definitely use some polish to release its own potential.

I like the idea of having an obstacle pinned to your own body, but I would really like to see smart usage of it to also get trickshots - like levering yourself to get really high or something. I also wish there was less startup momentum and inertia overall so it would be easier to be precise, might be personal preference but that would help a lot with the platforming as I spent more time fighting the controls and positioning rather than the level design.

Really cool project though and I'd love to see it get expanded.

Thank you for the feedback, it motivates me to work on the game after the jam!

For obstacles on stuck on the body, I am thinking right now just as another imbalance. Like sprinkles in hazardous shortcuts and there will be some way of getting rid of them, maybe by drifting. Can't think of a way to do trick shots with them, but trick shots are on my mind, but I haven't figured out how to add them. Maybe a special key for a flip or something? The only "trick shot" that is needed on the current track is to stand still and balance with the stick up and then jump to collect some of the cheerios.

Startup momentum is problem, the lollipop will start drifting with pure torque. The power glide, that is visible on the last screenshot, currently has I think good controls, where it disables torque. Maybe I could tweak this behaviour for very slow movement... Even I still have problems when standing still and trying to align with a ramp or bridge, to go through them. For these the trick for me is to not stop moving and when I am near a bridge or ramp, slightly off-side, I will jump from the side on it and finish the alignment while moving on them :) But precise movement while not moving fast enough is tedious :(

Thanks for playing and your feedback again, it is flooding my brain with ideas :)
