Thank you so much for playing and for the feedback! The wheel effects work on a percentage chance so sometimes you might just get really lucky. We didn't want to make the game too hard as one of our devs struggled with beating the game. The wheel moving by itself was an effect called "wheel kickback" which moves the wheel in a random direction left or right. There wasn't any symbol for that as I thought it would be more interesting to just have the wheel move on it's own be it supernatural forces or just the wheel being old. I hope that cleared up some things but I appreciate the feedback and will be sure to take it to my next efforts.

Ah okay, I think the overall level of quality led me to believe lt was a bug instead of a feature haha (it's a game jam game after all). So assuming it was a feature, I do think it works! And I know I got the effects because I noticed small differences, but I didn't see the icon for it until the third round (it's very shrouded in the background).
You should probably find playtesters, anyone would work. As long as you don't just go solely based on your team's opinions. That's why I believe our game became as polished as it is, because we held like 4 different playtests (and played it ourselves many many times). But it's just my personal recommendation, you've all still done a great job :>
