I see—you're turning the game into a one-time purchase release. However, visual novels don't usually command a high enough price point on Steam (they often end up undervalued unless you create a massive game and sell it for a typical, relatively low visual novel price).
That’s why most devs and teams prefer a chapter-based system via Patreon: release to Patreon first, then add the chapter for free the following month while releasing the next Patreon chapter, continuing "indefinitely" until the story concludes.
In any case, I understand and respect the team's choice, so I'll be looking forward to the game's official, final release :3
