here's my hint for level 8:
it looks like you should figure out the sequence of actions to solve level 8, but actually you need to continue figuring out mechanics. if it seems impossible you have an incomplete understanding.
further hint:
when you solve the first 7 levels, there are probably still 6 or so mechanics you don't know or correctly understand.
