For chapter two I have some suggestions.
- When missing resources to buy an upgrade I think only the one(s) you're missing should turn red. When all of them go red it's hard to tell what I need to focus on upgrading.
- The manual (timed) upgrade you can do repeatedly seemed very underwhelming. I tried upgrading it a few times, but it just doesn't seem worth it at all. What's +10 or so when I'm already in the 10,000 per second?
- The upgrades that have a permanent bonus or when at a certain level should be displayed somewhere easy to see, preferably saying what they do and when they are active or not.
- Having the descriptions not show up when the upgrade is maxed is a strange choice, also see previous comment.
- I don't think the story part needs to replay after unlocking the each of the locations again. At the very least it's nice you can skip them, but then the float on the screen and can't be dismissed.
- When getting a new upgrade or maxing out another and having it disappear, the window would move to a different place and I found it quite jarring.
- I found the upgrade window a bit janky. I would hover over a building, go up to the upgrades and the window would disappear sometimes. I think clicking on the building/clicking outside the upgrade window to activate/dismiss it would be better.
- I'm not sure if it's a performance issue, but I did find some of the text to be much too slow.
- Please have commas in your numbers. 1000000 is much harder for me to understand at a glance than 1,000,000 and there's a few numbers to look at lol.
- I did see in the settings options for "sound" and "music" but didn't hear anything. Not sure if that's a bug, or just not implemented yet.
- The archive in the bottom right should be made much more obvious. I thought the little line of text the A.I. says what all it was for quite awhile.
That's all I can remember off the top of my head. Despite all my "suggestions" I enjoyed it and would love to play chapter 3.
